Naomi Klein: Capitalism vs. The Climate: Reflections on the 2015 UN Climate Change Conference

Finger Lakes Community College's George M. Ewing Forum welcomes Naomi Klein, author, social activist and filmmaker. Klein is known for her political analyses and criticism of corporate globalization and capitalism. Naomi Klein is the author of five books. Her latest book is This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. the Climate (2014), in which she argues that the hegemony of neoliberal market fundamentalism is blocking any serious reforms to halt climate change and protect the environment. Michael Winship, an award-winning television writer and producer, will moderate the conversation with Ms. Klein. Advance tickets are recommended. Due to strong sales, tickets are not guaranteed to be available at the door.
